"Our laser tag sisterhood gave me a chance to completely destress and just hang out with my sisters before the year came to an end."
Hi!
I’m Laila Majeed, an incoming third-year in ADPi! I joined ADPi as a freshman and am nothing but grateful for all the memories I’ve made. One of my favorite memories was our laser tag sisterhood!
As spring quarter was coming to an end, I was overwhelmed trying to study for my ochem and physics finals while also hanging out with my friends for the last time before summer break started. No matter what I did I felt like part of me was always thinking about the work I still had left to do, so it was hard to completely relax and make plans with friends.
Our laser tag sisterhood gave me a chance to completely destress and just hang out with my sisters before the year came to an end. I never would’ve thought to go play laser tag the week before finals if it wouldn’t have been for ADPi, yet it ended up being one of my favorite memories.
ADPi has provided me with so many academic resources (I swear there’s always someone in the chapter taking the same classes as me), while also giving me countless opportunities to relax and have fun. I’m so grateful to be part of such a supportive community, my undergrad experience wouldn’t be the same without ADPi and all the friends I’ve made since joining.
After a long summer of camp counseling and traveling I’m excited to return to Westwood and move into the ADPi house to create more memories that’ll last a lifetime!
